Houssem Aouar has found a new home since joining Roma earlier in June as a free agent.
The Algerian midfielder – who has been involved in the Giallorossi’s preseason since day one – has reportedly integrated extremely well with the rest of his new teammates, informs Il Messaggero.
Aouar’s quick mastery of the Italian language has also helped him become an integral part of Jose Mourinho’s training sessions.
Despite having been brought in as an alternative to Lorenzo Pellegrini, Mourinho has been placing Aouar at the forefront of Roma’s line-up in the first two friendlies with Boreale and Latina.
Aouar is looking for consistent playing time following the last difficult seasons at Lyon and could feature in the same line-up as Pellegrini.
