Houssem Aouar receives offers from Qatar and Saudi Pro League

Algerian midfielder Houssem Aouar may be on the move after only one season at Roma.

Roma have received two offers worth over €10 million for Houssem Aouar who joined the club in 2023 as a free agent, reports Corriere dello Sport.

The first comes from Al Saad, a team that plays in Qatar, the second from a team from Saudi Arabia.

The player has a contract with Roma until 30 June 2028, but the former Lyon midfielder would have little space in the new team created by De Rossi.

For this reason, the club’s management are trying to find a solution to allow the player to return to being a protagonist again elsewhere.

Roma would therefore be willing to accept offers for the Algerian player, but it remains to be seen whether the midfielder will be willing to move to less renowned leagues.

However, the huge salaries that certain clubs guarantee could make the difference.

Houssem Aouar, 25 years old, arrived in the Giallorossi last year on a free transfer: for Roma, therefore, his possible transfer would represent a clean capital gain. The Algerian played 16 games this season with the Giallorossi shirt, scoring 4 goals.
