Houssem Aouar also happens to be on Roma’s transfer list after failing to convince the Giallorossi.
The Algerian midfielder arrived on a free transfer from Lyon last summer, and was at least initially expected to be one of the big signings of the season.
Instead the player disappointed, first with Mourinho and then with De Rossi, so much so that Roma put him on the market after just a year.
However, there is no shortage of suitors, and most of all Al-Ittihad came forward, offering as much as 15 million euros for the ex-Lyon man.
According to most reports, Aouar is one step away from moving to Saudi Arabia, but in the meantime he is thinking about Roma.
In fact, on Instagram the player published a photo of himself wearing the Giallorossi training shirt, with the phrase “Back home. I’m ready.”
