Roma are keeping several options alive ahead of the January window.
The capital club are in search of an additional midfielder in order to strengthen Jose Mourinho’s roster.
Besides Davide Frattesi of Sassuolo – who is unlikely to join in January given Sassuolo’s demands – Roma are still considering Lyon’s Houssem Aouar, reports Leggo.
The Frenchman is nearing the expiry of his contract and his entourage are in touch with Roma’s management as they wait to find out what the future may hold for the 24-year-old.
Lyon are reportedly willing to let Aouar go in January for around €4 million.
