Mats Hummels concludes his career and thus his brief spell at Roma.
The German defender, world champion in 2014, announced his retirement a few months ago after a final season spent in the capital.
With a post published on social media, Hummels wanted to say goodbye to the club and the fans, expressing all his gratitude for the experience with the Giallorossi.
“It was a great honour and pleasure to be a part of this big club and this team this year,” wrote Hummels.
“I will always cross my fingers for you, Roma, and these guys wherever they are. Forza Roma sempre.”
