Matts Hummels is keen on joining the Serie A after concluding his spell at Borussia Dortmund.

The 35-year-old German defender is about to become a free agent following his decision not to renew his contract with Dortmund.

In recent weeks, the ex-Bayern Munich centreback made it known that he wants to stay in Europe and preferably close to Germany.

As a result, his entourage have been offering him to the other leagues in Europe.

The latest report by Sky Sport claims that Hummels has been offered to two Serie A clubs: Milan and Roma.

While Milan are not interested in the veteran defender, Roma are said to be evaluating a deal for him.

The Giallorossi are currently making considerations with regards to the feasibility and the costs of a deal for the free agent (wages, length of contract, agent fees).
