RomaPress.net – Following weeks of negotiations, Roma are finally ready to welcome Matias Soulé to its ranks.

The Argentine is scheduled to land in the Italian capital late on Sunday evening as nearly 200 supporters gathered at Fiumicino Airport to welcome him to the club.

Roma technical director Florent Ghisolfi was also on-hand to welcome the 21 year-old—he’ll undergo his medical examinations and sign his contract on Monday morning.

The French executive was overwhelmed by affection from supporters, who thanked him for the signing while singing chants throughout the terminal.

The Giallorossi finally struck an agreement with Juventus to acquire Soule on a permanent transfer. They’ll pay an initial fee worth €26 million plus €4 million in bonuses—the Bianconeri will also retain a 10% sell-on clause in the event of any future transfer.
