Roma’s focus during these final days of the transfer market will be focused on reinforcing the defence. After central defender, right back also remains a priority for Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi. Nicolo Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Elseid Hysaj of Napoli remains the Giallorossi’s first choice for the role and that contact  has continued between the parties. The Albanian has the same agent as Roma’s Jordan Veretout, which could potentially help expedite negotiations between the clubs.
