Ibañez frustrated with result: “It’s always like this against us.”

Roma defender Roger Ibañez, one of the team’s goal-scorers from last night, released an interview to Sky Sport following Roma’s draw to Bodo/Glimt at the Olimpico.

“We tried everything. I thank God for the goal. What the coach said, there were two clear penalties, two handballs if I’m not mistaken but now it’s done. It’s always like this against us, I’m not talking about referees.”

On the defense:

“If you watch two games, they are defended differently. Today we only conceded two. That game is over, now let’s think about the next one.”

On his preferred position:

“I prefer to play as a central defender, but if the coach asks, I can also fill in as a full-back. It is a role that all footballers can play.”

“Now we have to play harder. We have to work, work, work.”
