Roma defender Roger Ibañez rued his side’s poor start in their 3-2 loss this evening at the hands of Lazio.
The Biancocelesti hit the Giallorossi for two goals within the first twenty minutes, which included a goal from ex-Roma attacker Pedro.
The Brazilian pulled one back for Roma after scoring from a corner, but it ultimately wasn’t enough for his team to come away with anything from the match.
“We started with the wrong approach,” he said to DAZN. “Once we changed that, we controlled the game.”
“It’s a shame about the result, especially for the supporters, but we’ve got to put it behind us and think about the next one.”
“I won’t say what Mourinho told us afterwards, but we must always come out with the right attitude and it has to stay that way for the entire match.”
