Roma defender Roger Ibañez admitted that his side need to continue improving as they prepare to kick-off the second half of their season.
The 23 year-old has played a pivotal role for the Giallorossi this season and credited new manager José Mourinho with helping him improve.
“I hope things can improve even further in 2022 for us,” he told Sky Sport.
“Mourinho has really helped me. I speak Portuguese and Italian so I’m able to understand him really well. He’s been by our side since day one and he tries to stay as close to the team as possible.”
“He knows everything about us players. We know that we’re a strong team but we’ve got to work hard because there’s things we got to get better at.”
“For instance, when we concede a goal, we don’t manage to pick ourselves straight away.”
