Roma are dreaming of appointing Jurgen Klopp in the summer as their next long-term manager.
The German’s announcement to leave Liverpool took the world of football by storm, including Roma who are yet to make a decision as to who will lead them from next season onwards after Jose Mourinho’s dismissal.
According to the latest report by Il Messaggero, Klopp is a manager that appeals to several clubs in Italy, primarily Napoli and Roma.
Both teams are looking for their next long-term option. Roma President Dan Friedkin is said to be fascinated by the possibility of luring the former Borussia Dortmund and Reds manager to the Italian capital.
However, the path leading to Klopp will be complicated due to the costs involved as well as Napoli’s competition.
