After appointing Daniele De Rossi as interim manager until the end of the season, Roma are expected to evaluate more experienced, long-term options.
The capital club are said to have began the search for their next long-term manager as De Rossi will leave the club in June after taking over Jose Mourinho’s position.
According to Sport Mediaset, the decision to appoint a new manager in the summer will largely depend on the next sporting director.
However, the Giallorossi already seem to have a set of preferred candidates for the job: the Italian sports network lists the names of Antonio Conte and Thiago Motta as the favorites.
Additionally, Sport Mediaset reports that Roma are also keen on AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli who is expected to depart the Rossoneri at the end of the season.
