Inter boss Simone Inzaghi dismisses transfer exit for Federico Dimarco

Roma’s search for a short-term replacement for the injured Leonardo Spinazzola is well underway, though, there may be a name they have to cross off their list.

Inter manager, Simone Inzaghi, dismissed the idea that Roma target Federico Dimarco could leave the club this summer following his successful loan stint at Hellas Verona.

The Giallorossi have already made an inquiry for the 23 year-old and consider him an ideal profile to replace Spinazzola, who’s expected to miss at least six months.

Despite the interest from the capital club, Inzaghi insisted that he’s counting on Dimarco for the upcoming season.

“Dimarco did really well at Verona. He’s an Inter academy product, which is something to be proud of,” he said.

“He’s a player the club and I are counting on.”
