Inter manager Simone Inzaghi sounded satisfied with his side’s 2-0 victory over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Italian technician discussed the result in his post-match interview with DAZN.
“It’s an important result. We were expecting a difficult game, against a strong team that concedes very little at home,” he said.
“We did well and remained focused all game long. The boys should be praised for what they have been doing since April 1st. We are Inter and we want to face all competitions to the end.”
“Throughout the week we worked hard to prevent Roma from utilizing set pieces to their advantage considering how much damage they did to us in the first leg.”
