Inter manager Simone Inzaghi is looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat with Udinese in tomorrow night’s Serie A encounter with Roma at the San Siro in Milan. The ex-Lazio boss previewed the match, hinting at a possible starting eleven that will once again exclude Romelu Lukaku who is still sidelined due to injury.
“This will be a very challenging game,” Inzaghi told reporters in the pre-match presser. “Roma are a strong team with a great manager, and they got better over the summer.”
“We have to prepare well for this match. Yesterday was the first time I saw all the boys again at my disposal after the break. We analyzed the defeat in Udine and at the same time we prepared the match for tomorrow.”
“Lukaku’s recovery has stalled and we’re missing an important player as a result. He will need more time.”
“Brozovic and Gagliardini have been unable to train so I expect Asllani to start tomorrow.”
