Inter Milan will have to face Simone Inzaghi without their manager on the sidelines for the next Serie A matchday.
The Italian technician will be forced to watch his team play against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico from the stands after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season which results in a suspension.
Inzaghi was shown the yellow card in last night’s win over Juventus.
In the aftermath of his side’s victory, Inzaghi remarked his anger, “I am very angry with this decision. I don’t think I deserved the card tonight: it was the Derby d’Italia after all, an intense game.”
“Unfortunately I left the technical area, it’s a heavy warning: I’m sorry and it’s better that it happens to me than to one of my players, but the thought of not being on the bench on Saturday leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.”
