Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Inter and Cagliari have made progress in talks for Nicolo Barella. Reportedly, the two sides have agreed on a fee worth €45 million plus bonuses for the midfielder. Roma also had an agreement in place with the Sardinian side for Barella. However, the player chose Inter as his preferred destination. The Nerazzurri will now try to find the right formula with Cagliari to close the operation.
