Inter and Roma are both interested in Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.
After meeting with Roma executive Tiago Pinto on Monday afternoon, Morata’s agent travelled to Milan to meet with Inter representatives.
The Nerazzurri were ready to formulate their first offer before halting talks with the player’s entourage given Morata’s excessive salary demands of over €5 million per year, reports Tuttomercatoweb.
Moreover, the costs of the deal as dictated by Atletico Madrid are also deemed too high for both Inter and Roma who would prefer to sign the Spaniard on more favorable conditions as opposed to his rumoured €20 million release clause.
