After dazzling performances this season, Inter director Piero Ausilio was asked by Sky Sport about Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, who was sold by the Nerazzurri in the operation that included former Giallorossi midfielder Radja Nainggolan. These are his words:
“I hope that in a few years Zaniolo can be compared to Bonucci – meaning that we sacrificed him, despite being a young player with great prospects, in order to bring-in Nainggolan and win something”.
