Inter executive Beppe Marotta touched upon Roma’s progress during Mourinho’s tenure.
The Special One’s return to Serie A was very talked about upon his arrival in the Italian capital in 2021.
Almost three years later, Mourinho has collected much criticism from some of the local media outlets.
However, Inter director Beppe Marotta remains convinced that the path which Roma undertook on the day they appointed Mourinho remains an impressive one.
While taking the podium at the RCS Sport Industry Talk event, Marotta declared, “Mourinho has regenerated the Roma phenomenon in terms of attractiveness. This was made possible thanks to the Italian Growth Decree.”
