Inter join race for Jordan Veretout

Andy Mattioli

Inter are looking to reinforce their midfield ahead of next season and have put their sights on out-of-favor Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout, reports Tuttosport.

The Frenchman’s demands for a renewal have been deemed too high by the capital club and the player is now looking to move on from the Giallorossi after three years in Rome.

On the other hand, Inter are having difficulties in their negotiations for Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi. The Neroverdi aren’t making any discounts, and Inter director Beppe Marotta has decided to broaden his options on the market.

Veretout is considered a valid alternative to Frattesi, and much cheaper given that Roma, according to latest reports, want at least €20 million for the ex-Fiorentina man.
