Wesley is undergoing rehabilitation to fully recover from the injury that prevented him from playing in the World Cup for Brazil.

The Brazilian winger is a key player for Gasperini, the coach who has nurtured his development in the opposition goal: five goals in his first year in Serie A, record numbers for the 2003-born player.

These performances haven’t gone unnoticed by Inter, who were disappointed by the failed deal with Atalanta for Palestra.

Wesley is a key player for Gian Piero Gasperini.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 2003-born player is highly regarded by Inter, who are seeking a winger to replace Dumfries.

The Nerazzurri have an uphill battle ahead: Roma have already rejected Chelsea’s interest and are unlikely to consider a transfer.

Wesley is the least expendable player on the altar of capital gains; the Giallorossi are strongly targeting him. Inter have therefore returned to a phase of in-depth evaluation to avoid any transfer errors.
