Inter will be without midfielder Marcelo Brozovic beyond this weekend’s showdown against Roma.
Already suspended for this weekend’s showdown against the Giallorossi, the Croatian football federation revealed the midfielder could be out of action for the next month after he pulled-up injured during yesterday’s victory over Austria.
The 29 year-old underwent scans at St. Catherine’s Specialty Hospital in Zagreb earlier today which revealed a mild strain to his left hamstring. The Croatian will return to Milan in the coming hours to undergo follow-up examinations from Inter’s medical staff.
As for Saturday, Inter manager Simone Inzaghi will likely select Kristjan Asllani to replace Brozovic.
