Inter are standing in the way of Davide Frattesi’s return to Roma.
The midfielder – motivated by his lack of playing time under Simone Inzaghi – has been reportedly considering making a surprise return to the Italian capital.
However, the Nerazzurri are not keen on this option as the last thing they would want to do is reinforce an Italian rival.
According to Tuttosport, so far any attempt by Frattesi’s entourage to engage in talks with Roma has been blocked by Inter.
The Nerazzurri have made it clear they will not consider any offer below 40 million euros for the ex-Sassuolo player.
