Inter reignite interest in Dzeko

After having failed in their pursuit last summer, Inter are, once again, being linked with an approach for Roma’s Edin Dzeko.

Despite having signed a contract renewal with the club last summer, Antonio Conte’s side remain interested in the Bosnian, who they view as an alternative should they not be able to finalise a deal for Edinson Cavani, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

Dzeko‘s contract with the Giallorossi runs until 2022 and he remains the highest wage earner at the club.

Reportedly, he would request an identical contract to the one at Roma in order to join the Nerazzurri, who still remain interested in his services despite his age (34).

The former Manchester City man has 15 goals and 9 assists in all competitions this season for Paulo Fonseca’s side.
