It remains to be seen what the future holds for Roma striker Edin Dzeko, but there is no denying that the Bosnian is drawing plenty of interest within Italy.
Calciomercato.com has reported today that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio recently had dinner with Silvano Martina, who is the agent of Dzeko as well as the Nerazzurri’s Daniele Padelli, whose contract the club wants to renew.
Both players were discussed but the Inter duo were keen to know if there was still the chance that they could enter back into the race for the former Wolfsburg attacker given how advanced the negotiation with Juventus is.
If Napoli continue to ask for Cengiz Ünder, Alessio Riccardi and €20 million in cash from Roma for Arkadiusz Milik, then it’s likely the deal won’t go through and Inter could try and relaunch their attempts for Dzeko.
