Inter have denied Roma’s recent advances for midfielder Davide Frattesi who believed to be one of Daniele De Rossi’s top targets for the summer.
The Italian midfielder and ex-Primavera player was once again recently linked with a return to the capital.
Rumors claimed Frattesi could – given his scarce playing time under Simone Inzaghi at Inter – seek a reunion with Daniele De Rossi at Roma.
Frattesi seems to represent all the qualities De Rossi needs in his ideal midfield.
However, Tuttosport reports that Roma’s inquiries for Frattesi – who joined Inter a year ago from Sassuolo – were not met positively by Inter’s management.
Not even twelve months ago, Inter purchased Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo on loan with obligation to buy.
The option was triggered in February, with the Nerazzurri having to pay €27 million to the Neroverdi after the initially €6 million already injected last summer.
Of these 33 million, almost €10 million will go to Roma which in 2017 had included a percentage on the future resale, set at 30%, among the clauses of the sale to Sassuolo.
As a result, Inter do not consider Frattesi up for sale unless an extremely considerable offer were to come in for him.
