The Gran Galà del Calcio, the event held yesterday evening to recognize the best players of the past season, was held.
The best player of the 2024-2025 season was Napoli’s Scott McTominay, who won by a wide margin. Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni, however, revealed that he didn’t vote for the Scottish midfielder.
The Nerazzurri defender, in fact, chose Mile Svilar, who won the award for best goalkeeper last season.
Bastoni, once on stage, revealed: “I voted for Svilar; he’s been my fantasy football goalkeeper for two years.”
