Inter manager Simone Inzaghi may face consequences for breaching his suspension during Roma-Inter last Saturday night.
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, Inzaghi – who was suspended for the match and therefore not present on the sidelines or in Inter’ dressing room – reached out to his team via phone call at half-time to provide them with instructions and motivate them ahead of the second half.
Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni was the first one to admit to this episode in his post-match reaction with DAZN, whereas Inzaghi’s assistant coach, Farris, denied this a few minutes later.
The newspaper suggests that the Federal Prosecutor will look into this matter and interrogate both Inzaghi and Bastoni in the coming days.
