Inter defender Stefan de Vrij credited Roma for a hard-fought match (which ended 4-2 in Inter’s favor) in a recent interview with DAZN.
In the aftermath of Inter’s resounding victory over Salernitana, the Dutch centreback spoke about the Nerazzurri’s positive streak and touched upon Roma’s performance in their Serie A encounter from a week ago.
“I think this is the strongest team I’ve been on. We have always improved over the years and by now we are used to playing together, it is a pleasure to be part of this group.”
“Physically I’m fine, it’s always better to play continuously. I’m someone who works a lot in training to make sure I’m ready.”
“Roma? Credit to them, they did well against us and it was tough to come back. We try to approach every match as well as possible and we did on that occasion, too.”
