Inzaghi: “The Derby? We’ve thought about it since July.”

Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi spoke about the Derby to Sky Sport after his team’s victory over Palermo:

“The Derby? I have thought about it since we left for Auronzo in July. These last few days, I tried to get the guys to concentrate only on Palermo since it was a tricky match. We had to force ourselves to prepare in the best way possible and we did so. The team is mature and conscious of their own strength. These are important players and I’ve seen since the early days of our summers ritiro. We should not kid ourselves, though: we have to continue like this. Sunday will two very good teams will face-off and we will try to do our best. We will have to be perfect because we will meet a strong team. We will do everything to give satisfaction to our fans “
