Former Real Madrid star Isco recently spoke negatively about ex-Roma sporting director Monchi.

The two briefly collaborated at Sevilla as Isco signed with the Spanish club on a free transfer.

However, Isco’s stay in Sevilla was short-lived and culminated in a fight with Monchi.

“What I’m about to tell you is shocking,” Isco revealed in an interview with Marca.” I told him he was the biggest liar I’ve ever met in football and he attacked me. He came up to me, he grabbed me by the neck, we pulled at each other and they had to separate us completely.”

“As you can understand, after that, I didn’t want to continue to play there under any circumstances. And even if I was sorry, because I had an excellent relationship with my teammates and the fans treated me wonderfully, I couldn’t feel comfortable in a club where the sporting director attacks me and nobody speaks out or apologizes.”
