Roma’s new target summer appears to be Watford midfielder Ismael Kone.
The 22-year-old player is currently engaged in Copa America with the Canadian national team.
Fresh off an impressive season in the English championship, Kone is now pushing to leave Watford, reports Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth.
Kone’s priority is to explore options on the market with consideration for destinations outside of England as well.
According to Sheth, Roma are among the clubs who have come forward as potential suitors to the 22-year-old.
For Roma, Kone represents the ideal profile to strengthen the team’s midfield.
However, the Giallorossi will also have to face competition from the likes of Marseille and West Ham: both clubs have shown interest in Kone.
