Valerio Giuffrida, agent and intermediary in the recent transfer market that just came to a close, spoke about the transfer of Artem Dovbyk in an interview with Radio Sportiva.
Giuffrida underlined that the Ukrainian player will need an adaptation period to best fit into his new team.
When asked what he though of the initial deal that Dovbyk join Roma for almost 40 million euros from Girona, Giuffrida stated, “I felt great satisfaction and great responsibility, being from Rome and full of Romanisti friends.”
“There is great expectation: you can get the wife wrong but you can’t get the attacker wrong. They did technical and sporting analyses, then the statistics help, he was La Liga’s top goal-scorers ahead of players of the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico.
“He will have to adapt,” Giuffrida added. “He will need his time”.
