Roma’s brave performance away from home in Rotterdam was subject of much debate in Italian media this morning.
The Giallorossi’s 1-1 draw with Feyenoord saw some key players put in a brilliant shift, with others trailing behind.
Today’s media reports voted the likes of Rick Karsdorp and Diego Llorente – whose costly mistake led to Feyenoord’s opening goal – as the worst performers of the night.
In the meantime, Romelu Lukaku – who helped the team equalize in the second half – received lots of praise in today’s newspapers.
However, the Man of the Match proved to be Leandro Paredes – a commanding performance to help Roma control the tempo of the match and impose their play style on Feyenoord.
The Argentine midfielder received an average score 7 out of 10, one of the highest ratings in Italian media.
