Italian media were quick to dismiss rumors of an apparent exit of Nemanja Matic from the capital club.
Earlier today, whispers from France claimed the Serbian midfielder was in advanced talks to join Rennes.
However, Italian journalist Andrea Di Carlo – among others – reports that Roma have not received any offers for Matic and do not intend to let him go.
Matic recently extended his contract with the Giallorossi and is considered a pivotal presence in Jose Mourinho’s dressing room.
Roma are unlikely to entertain any proposals for him this summer.
