Much speculation has been made with regards to Francesco Totti’s potential role in Roma’s management after the Friedkins took over the club almost two years ago.
Corriere dello Sport recently interviewed Giovanni Malagò, the President of the Italian Olympic Committee and addressed rumours of dedicating the Stadio Olimpico to Paolo Rossi as well as Totti’s return to Roma.
“The day that Stadio Della Roma will be built and one for Lazio too, and the Olimpico becomes the official national team’s facility, it would be natural to dedicate it to Paolo Rossi.”
On Totti’s return: “If I were the Friedkins, I would undoubtedly bring back Totti to Roma.”
“Will it happen? It’s not certain, but it’s probable,” he concluded.
