As of yesterday, Emerson Palmieri is a player eligible to be called by the Azzurri after FIFA approved the player’s switch of national team federation from Brazil to Italy. At this point, Italy manager Ventura will almost certainly cap Emerson at the next available opportunity, which will be 10 April.
