Bryan Cristante exited last night’s game against Lazio a bit banged-up.
Despite his uncertain condition, the Roma midfielder answered Italy’s call-up and joined the Azzurri in Coverciano for their upcoming playoff games with North Macedonia and Ukraine.
In today’s press conference, Italy manager Luciano Spalletti shared an update on Cristante whilst discussing his team selection for the next two fixtures.
“There are certain players we have to monitor in the coming days. Cristante suffers from muscular fatigue,” said Spalletti. “We will watch him train in the next two sessions and decide then how to proceed,” he added.
