Roma manager Ivan Juric spoke to Sky Sport after Roma’s defeat to Verona with a final scoreline of 3-2.
“Tonight we saw another episode against us when Verona scored on the second goal,” he said.
“Roma played a great match, but when you make certain mistakes you pay for them.”
“I feel sorry for the boys because we played a great game with great intensity. We lost because of our own fault,” he added.
“We are making too many big mistakes, especially if you give the ball to the opponents. I hope this moment passes soon.”
“The absences? On the wings we are covered with the return of El Shaarawy and Saelemaekers, in the middle we are fine. Maybe we are missing something at the back but we have many options up front.”
“I saw some very interesting ideas today, we must remain lucid and understand that these errors are serious and condemn us, but we have done great things.”
“The difference with Florence is abysmal. That evening was a disaster, today we played well but we are making big mistakes. On the first goal we gave the ball away, the second was irregular, we are paying for these things.”
“Sometimes football is like that, we have to keep our wits about us and raise our concentration level even if they are too big mistakes to depend on concentration.”
