Former Barcelona and Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic looked back on the infamous night at the Stadio Olimpico when Barça allowed Roma to come back from being down 4-1.
In a recent interview with Juantes FC, Rakitic called it “the worst game” of his career.
“The match against Roma was the worst of my career. We gave it away. It was all our fault,” said the Croatian midfielder.
“We did so many great things, yet here I am – I am sad. We were one of the best teams football has ever seen. But we could have done much more,” he added.
