German winger Jan-Niklas Beste is being increasingly linked with a move to Roma.

Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport claims the Giallorossi’s interest in the player is concrete.

Beste could, argues the newspaper, turn out to be Roma’s surprise signing of the summer.

The player is very appreciated by both Ghisolfi and De Rossi who are working in synergy to further strengthen the team ahead of next season.

Beste is coming off an impressive first season in the German Bundesliga with Heidenheim, having scored 8 goals and 11 assists in 31 league games.

His reported pricetag is of around €10 million – a fee deemed accessible by Roma’s standards.
