Roma youngster Jordan Majchrzak – on loan from Legia Warsaw – is in talks to sign a permanent deal with the Giallorossi.

In a recent interview with InteriaSport, the Polish attacker discussed his time in the Italian capital and the opportunity to work with Jose Mourinho.

“I think when you get into the first team, and you sit on the bench, you always have to expect to be called to get on the pitch,” said Majchrzak.

“I am very grateful to the coach for giving me a chance. There’s a lot for me left to do, but I’m doing my thing. I work as hard as I have always worked, nothing changes for me. I want to show that it’s worth betting on me in the long run.”

“Zalewski? I thank Nicola for taking me under his wing. It is known that we made contact immediately, because he is Polish. But really, everyone in this team supports me and is friendly towards me. I am grateful that the team has welcomed me like this.”

“Training with players like Dybala or Abraham is an honor. Tammy is a footballer I saw in the Premier League a few years ago and now I’m walking the Stadio Olimpico pitch with him. It means a lot to me to be able to learn from these players.”

“I don’t know how it will end, if Roma decide to buy me, it depends on them. I will give 100% in every training session, in every match and I will fight all the time for more.”

“Mourinho is an extraordinary person. He gives me a lot of support. He’s created a really good relationship with all players. His personality, the conversations with him, the advice from him – it’s amazing that you can learn from such a coach.”

“When Mourinho points out something to me, I immediately try to improve it. I thank him for the confidence shown in me. It’s true what they say and write about him. He is a great man and coach.”
