Roma are nearing the signing of Turkish fullback Zeki Çelik from Lille with the player having already accepted the Giallorossi’s long-term proposal worth around €2 million in wages.
The capital club are currently negotiating the player’s price-tag with the French side, who are demanding €9 million for the Turkish international.
In the meantime, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Jordan Veretout could be included in the deal for Çelik.
Veretout has been linked with an exit from the capital for the past few months, with frequent rumors about a potential return to France.
Now, the Italian newspaper claims that Lille may be tempted to strengthen their midfield by landing the ex-Fiorentina man.
Olympique de Marseille are currently the team most interested in the 28-year-old. Roma are asking for €15 million.
