French midfielder Jordan Veretout came on in the second half to last night’s victory in Tirana and delivered a fine performance as one of the four substitutes.
The ex-Fiorentina man addressed his feelings about the club given recent rumours of a potential exit in the summer window.
“This year I started off well, then less si, but I came back and played well with Torino and I’m available to the coach: when he asks me to fight I have to be ready and give 100%,” he told Sky Sport.
“I want to do my best for this club. Roma is a great club and I’m happy I get to bring the trophy back to Rome.”
“It’s a beautiful club that is growing. Last year we lost in the semi-finals of the Europa League, this year we did well all the way until the end. It’s amazing. Today I’m very happy.”
