Jose Mourinho ahead of Sheriff Tiraspol rematch: “I think we will win.”

Roma manager Jose Mourinho sounded confident ahead of tonight’s Europa League clash with Sheriff Tiraspol.

The Portuguese boss spoke to Sky Sport on the eve of Roma’s last Europa League group-stage match which will take place in a sold-out Stadio Olimpico this evening.

“I think that’s something I bring to every club I go – the raising of expectations, that is,” said Mourinho. “Our expectation is to win tomorrow and I think we will.”

Mourinho also shared an update on injured players, “Mancini is also injured, tomorrow he won’t even be on the bench but there’s no chance for Kumbulla, maybe against Napoli he could be on the bench but we can’t expect more from him at this point.”

“Dybala? In the end he is someone who gives us a lot when he is on the pitch, we are lucky to have him. We miss him because he is too important a player but we look at it with a little optimism, he will come back and when he does we will be stronger.”
