Roma head coach Jose Mourinho spoke at his pre-match presser ahead of tomorrow night’s Europa League final in Budapest.
The Portuguese technician addressed several topics including his own future as well as the comparisons between the two teams who will face each other tomorrow.
“For us it’s going to be a historic and unforgettable final,” said Mourinho. “We can’t wait to be there.”
“My future? I spoke with the two captains of my team because they asked me about it. I gave them an objective answer. But it’s something that stays between me and the team. They know what I’ll do.”
“For now I haven’t spoken with any club,” he added. “It’s not a similar situation the one I experienced at Inter.”
On Sevilla, Mourinho remarked, “They have top level players. We have many Primavera players: kids like Zalewski, Bove, Tahirovic have played less than Lamela, El Nesyri. I think my experience and Mendilibar’s are the same. Same white hair. They hold more finals behind their belt and consequently more experience. We have two years of work since I’m here. 30 European matches in 2 years.”
“Difference between Roma and Tottenham? Roma didn’t fire me before Tirana. Roma gave me the chance to win.”
“Dybala? He will be able to give us 20-30 minutes,” concluded Mourinho.
