Jose Mourinho awaits verdict for match ban ahead of Sassuolo clash

Roma manager Jose Mourinho is waiting to find out the verdict of the FIGC with regards to his suspension for the upcoming Serie A fixtures.

The Portuguese technician was once again welcomed to the offices of the Sports Court of Appeal in Rome in order to recount the events that took place during Cremonese-Roma which involved Serie A official Marco Serra, reports Corriere dello Sport.

Mourinho is hoping to have his two-match ban permanently lifted ahead of this weekend’s league affair with Sassuolo at Stadio Olimpico.

In the meantime, referee Marco Serra has been disqualified indefinitely for insulting Mourinho during the Cremonese match.
