Jose Mourinho decides to stay at Roma until 2024

Andy Mattioli

Jose Mourinho is reportedly set on continuing his work at Roma until the official expiry of his contract in 2024.

According to the latest report by Corriere dello Sport, the Special One has made up his mind and – despite numerous offers from abroad – wants to manage the Giallorossi for an additional year.

The decision came shortly before the international break as the Portuguese technician travalled to London to spend time with his family and reflect on his own future.

The rapport between Mourinho and Roma’s owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin is optimal and will further strengthen their collaboration in a project which they started together in 2021 and which saw Roma lift their first European silverware.
